A whimsical winter wedding on the east coast

Love was definitely in the air during Michael and Brittany’s winter wedding, and they didn’t let the rainy weather get them down! The venue, Veltri's, was so beautiful, and every detail spoke to the cozy charm of a winter wonderland. Yes, the weather may have been less than optimal, but that didn’t stop them from having the time of their lives! Michael and Brittany added a delightful touch to their wedding by embracing a New Year's Eve vibe. The bride and groom rocked adorable hats, and had streamers on hand to add that extra touch of glamour to their photos. But what truly made their day extraordinary was the unwavering support of their loved ones. Rain or shine, Michael and Brittany rolled with the punches, proving that when you're surrounded by your closest friends and family, nothing can dampen your spirits on your big day! And, can we please take a moment for her DRESS, because WOW!! It was stunning. Not only did it really elevate the whole space but it also made their wedding day that much more whimsical! Take me back so we can do it all over again please!

make the most of your winter wedding photos

Now, we know what you're thinking. A winter wedding? In the rain? Well, here's the scoop – with a little creativity, some trusty indoor spaces, and the right photographer, you can turn even the grayest of days into a fairy tale. Winter days may be shorter, and the sun might set earlier, but that just opens up a world of opportunities for those fun flash photos! The earlier dusk gives your photographer the chance to work their magic and capture some truly unique shots that would be hard to replicate during a sunny summer day.

If you're considering a winter wedding, you'll want to think about the timeline. With the sun setting earlier, it's important to strategize when you'll have your ceremony and photoshoots. If you're not keen on doing a first look, opt for an earlier ceremony so you can take advantage of natural light. Then, as the sun sets, have some fun with those flash photos. Alternatively, if you're all about the first look, schedule your photoshoot before the ceremony to make the most of the available daylight
