As the warm weather starts to end, it doesn't mean that the creative spark in couples' sessions has to cool down! We had such a blast with Nikki and Nick for this unique retro couples session in Nicks backyard. Its always SO fun shooting them! An Intimate Couples Session in your Backyard

The inspiration for this unconventional session came from Nick's own backyard, a hidden gem that was the perfect canvas for their love story. What sealed the deal was the nostalgia of a picture the couple had taken together in a kiddie pool at the start of their journey. Nick's dad had the pink flamingo which made for such a fun prop and matched the vibe perfectly!

What makes sessions like these truly special is the willingness of couples to break free from traditional norms. Many believe that photography has to follow a certain template, but when couples like Nikki and Nick embrace out-of-the-box ideas, the results are magical! The more a couple lets the photographer into their world, sharing snippets of their personalities and quirks, the better the photographer can capture their unique love.

Their shoot in Nick's backyard perfectly mirrors their frequent hangouts in that space, which I love! It is so personal to their love story.
